This student-built project is a testing ground for Northern Michigan Natives and is the first of its kind in North America. It required a collaboration between Inhabitect, Michigan State University Extension (Leelanau Branch), Grand Traverse Conservation District and Boardman River Nature Center, Northwest Michigan College (Construction Technology Division), The Master Gardener Association of Northwest Michigan (MGANM), Ekocite Architecture, Concrete Service Inc., and multiple volunteers.
