We’re currently hiring for the following positions:

Our Site Supervisors have a seat at Inhabitect’s management table and will be directly involved with our day-to-day operations. This candidate must be motivated to complete projects on time and on budget, meeting both client and company expectations. A Site Supervisor must be a team player, be highly organized, have a good grasp on landscaping construction, and be a self-starter.

The ideal candidate is someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is driven to help Inhabitect continue to innovate and excel at all things green infrastructure, ecological landscaping and community minded design.

A Site Supervisor will manage a team and spend time inside and outside of the office. They will have a seat at the table during project bidding and planning phases and will be expected to utilize the technology and software, that is at their disposal, to plan and execute an installation. 

Primary duties of this position include:

  • Directly reporting to President of Inhabitect and Operations Manager(s).
  • Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator.
  • Direct management and oversight of Assistant Site Supervisors, Field Associates and Laborers.
  • They must do what they say they will do and have a desire to grow their career.
  • They must strive for constant improvement and growth – the company loves improving ourselves and is open to feed back from team members.
  • They are the face of Inhabitect, and it is vital the Site Supervisor shows up ready to ensure success.
  • As needed, must physically work in the field during the course of the day. Show the team how it is done!
  • Responsible for understanding and building what is designed on a project.
  • Must understand products, systems, installation techniques that are under their responsibility.
  • Must be capable of planning out their days, weeks, as well as an entire job to ensure project success.
  • Meet the profit margins and production goals of bid and/or project (meet timelines to complete tasks, production rates, quantity of materials used, product suppliers, etc)
  • Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications as directed
  • Understanding of the design, code, specifications, permitting and bidding process is a big plus.
  • Handle the tracking of projects, time lines, logistics, etc.

This person will have:

  • A degree Landscaping or Horticulture is a major PLUS but not needed.
  • 5+ years of experience with residential and/or commercial contracting/design in either the architecture, carpentry or landscape professions
  • Must have experience with crew leadership and management
  • Must have experience with project logistics and operations
  • Must desire autonomy and/or be comfortable with self management
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a CDL drivers license
  • Clean and professional appearance. Set example for crew.
  • Ability to handle high stress and high paced environments
  • Ability to work with all types of people
  • Hands on experience with construction or landscaping
  • Strong writing and reporting skills are desired
  • Be comfortable with technology requirements of the job (computers, smart phones, tablets, etc)
  • Computer skills: Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Social Media are desired and other technology is a bonus
  • Bonus skills: Builders license, Industry certifications, CDL, speak Spanish, and horticultural knowledge/understanding

Our Field Associates work outside, in all types of weather, and perform the duties outlined below. Their role is a hybrid of a landscaper, a carpenter and a roofer. They play a critical in the success of the company and they must follow policy, protocol and help to get projects completed on time, on budget, meeting both client and company expectations. 


They must always set a good example and have a good attitude. 


They are expected to come to work prepared and have a sense of pride in the quality of their work. They must be accountable for themselves, their actions and the work they do.


Primary duties of this position include:

  • Directly report to Operations Manager and Site Supervisor.
  • When they are assigned a task or duty they will perform it to the best of their abilities and ask questions if they need additional direction or are unsure of expectation. 
  • They must do what they say they will do and give their best effort – everyday. 
  • They must strive for constant improvement and growth. 
  • They are a face of Inhabitect, and it is vital the company shows up ready, each day, to ensure success. 
  • Must physically work during the course of the day and be able to work in all weather conditions. 
  • Communicate professionally with Operations Manager, Site Supervisor, Assistant Site Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, and Office Manager. 
  • Comfortable with working at heights, around construction equipment and on both residential and commercial jobsites.  
  • Follow all safety policies as needed on all jobsites – report any issues to Site Supervisor, Assistant Site Supervisor or Operations Manager 
  • Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications is a plus.  

This person will have: 

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (CDL a plus)
  • Strong work ethic and desire to grow their career
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry, lift and move 50 lbs on a regular basis

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Experience work in one of the following: Landscaping, Roofing, Carpentry or Farming
  • Experience with operating heavy equipment is desired
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and have a desire to learn



Wage varies depending on experience – Current starting rate is between $18.00 and $22.00/hour

We are still developing the job description for this position but encourage you to send us you resume if you have experience with bookkeeping or accounting. The ideal candidate would be experienced with Quickbooks Online and have knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting.  

This would be a year round position and could be done remotely.  It will be part-time to start and could become full-time as Inhabitect continues to grow. The starting rate is $22.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience.
