Inhabitect provided land use consulting, site planning, and ecological landscape design services for Taproot Farmstead, a future public-use space in Elmwood Township. Our role was to assist the owners in securing a special land use permit.
By guiding the site planning and permitting process, we helped the Taproot team navigate regulatory requirements, ensuring their vision aligned with local zoning and land use regulations. With the permit approved, the owners plan to implement the project themselves, using the design framework we provided.
This project highlights Inhabitect’s ability to support landowners in turning their ideas into actionable plans, whether through consulting, site design, or ecological landscape planning.
