- Green Roof – The Assembly’s rooftop features an extensive green roof and strategically placed planters, enhancing both the building’s sustainability and aesthetic appeal.
The Assembly is located just outside of downtown Detroit in the Corktown neighborhood. It is a former warehouse that has been transformed into a contemporary apartment community with an expansive pedestal paver rooftop. Some areas are private and there is also a community space boasting an extensive green roof and planters. This property is owned by Bedrock, the largest real estate partner in downtown Detroit who also has a strong presence in Cleveland, OH.
We worked closely with the General Contractor to assist with component detailing and layout, the final selection of materials, as well as the installation of everything above the roofing membrane.
