Project Description

This unique, three phase project, along the lower Manistee River showcases our dedication to ecological restoration and our ability to tackle complex and logistically demanding work. Accessible only by water, the project required transporting tools, plant materials, and crew via boats, underscoring our team’s grit and resourcefulness.

The restoration effort focused on stabilizing and revitalizing the riparian zone, a critical area for water quality and wildlife habitat. Using innovative techniques and eco-friendly materials, we worked to combat erosion, enhance biodiversity, and promote the long-term health of this vital ecosystem. Indigenous plants were carefully chosen and installed to ensure sustainability and seamless integration into the natural environment.

This challenging project is a testament to Inhabitect’s commitment to giving back to our community by taking on meaningful, non-traditional landscaping jobs. From navigating logistical hurdles to braving poison ivy, our team rose to the occasion with expertise and dedication, reinforcing that we are not your typical landscaping company.
