- Green Roof – The private rooftop at The Abbot features an intensive green roof planter, designed to enhance the space’s sustainability while providing a natural, vibrant environment.
The Abbot is located directly across the street from Michigan State University. The private rooftop living space includes an intensive green roof planter, a generous amount of pedestal pavers, a communal BBQ area, synthetic lawn area, as well as a hot tub. This space is directly adjacent to an expansive entertainment and lounge space, study rooms and gym. We worked closely with the General Contractor to streamline the installation process, assisting them with component detailing and layout, the final selection of materials, and finally the installation of everything above the roofing membrane.
