East Port Project

We consider our shorelines to be critical environments. In this project, our natural shoreline efforts help to protect the native upland habitat, including maples, white pine and others, from eroding into Lake Michigan.

Elk Lake Project

We consider our shorelines — where land meets water — to be the last line of defense between our waterways and the upland development. In this project, our natural shoreline efforts help to reduce the burden of increased runoff velocity and reduced water quality from surrounding development.
